A combined instruction was received from our Client to carry out a full Building Survey and Rebuilding Cost Assessment of a 1930’s semi-detached house they were looking to purchase in the Streatham Hill area. On the back of our comprehensive survey report, including budgeting advice for necessary repairs and their own planned extension and alteration works, the Client decided not to proceed with the acquisition and found an alternative property which was far better suited to their particular requirements. TCL were instructed to carry out a full Building Survey on the alternative property, and following which, the Client was able to proceed with the intended acquisition in the knowledge and comfort that the new property was in the appropriate condition and very well suited to their particular requirements.
